INTRODUCTION
Our primary purpose is to provide each of our students with timely, knowledgeable guidance at each stage of their advanced graduate program. The handbook provides information on each program within the College of Education and Public Service’s (opens new tab) Research and Doctoral Programs unit. As of Summer 2026, the four programs include the Education Specialist in Educational Technology, the Doctor of Education in Curriculum & Instruction, the Doctor of Education in Educational Technology, and the Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy and Administration.
The Ed.S. and Ed.D. programs in Educational Technology are offered entirely online, in an almost entirely asynchronous manner. The Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction is entirely online as well, but nearly all of its classes are offered synchronously, via Zoom. The Ph.D. program in Public Policy & Administration is an on-campus program, with only occasional courses offered in an online format.
