Dr. Patrick Lowenthal, Professor

Joined BSU in 2011 from the University of Colorado – Denver. Completed Ph.D. at the University of Colorado – Denver (2012).

Research interests: instructional communication using emerging technologies–with a specific focus on issues of presence, identity, and community online. Accessibility and accessible course design. Problems of practice with teaching & learning online. Past research focused on related topics like digital storytelling, computer-mediated discourse, social media, infographics, & effective presentations.
