Double Object pronouns

Double-object pronouns follow the same placement rules learned previously.

The structure when using double object pronouns is the following:

FIRST: Indirect object pronouns

SECOND: Direct object pronouns

The indirect object pronoun is placed before the direct object pronoun.

If the indirect object pronouns le and les are followed by the direct object pronouns lo, la, los and las, le and less will change to se.

Voy a comprar un coche a José

le lo voy a comprar

Se lo voy a comprar

Voy a comprárlelo

Voy a comprárselo

More example;

Yo compro una pizza a José.

With the rules learned we would say that the indirect object is José, and we would use the indirect object pronoun le.
The direct object is pizza, and the direct object pronoun is la.
When put together we would say: Yo le la compro.
But, we have just learned that le will be replaced by se.

That makes the correct sentence: Yo se la compro.
