Dual Immersion Program Essay, SPAN 420:
Multilingualism and Advanced Second Language Acquisition
This essay was for a final paper about a topic in Spanish linguistics. For my topic, I chose dual immersion programs in the United States since I went to a dual immersion school from kindergarten to sixth grade and learned in English and Spanish every day. This essay taught me more about the programs since I only knew the bare minimum of my program and how many dual immersion programs there are in Oregon.
Annotated Bibliography, SPAN 420: Multilingualism and Avanced Second Language Acquisition
This annotated bibliography I wrote about the attitudes individuals have towards bilingualism in the United States. After finishing this assignment, I learned about the positive and negative attitudes that individuals have towards bilingualism in the US, which I had not known about prior, nor did I expect there to be negative attitudes towards learning a second language.
