Materials Needed:

Warm-Up

Use the Google Slide to review the phrases you would use/hear at a restaurant.

Next, the slides have a couple of different ramen types and tsukemen. Explain what these are and that there’s a lot more types of ramen, but these are some of the main ones.

  • 次に、スライドには、いくつかの異なるラーメンタイプとつけ麺があります。これらが何であるか、そしてラーメンの種類が多いことを説明しますが、これらは主なものの一部です。

Ask the students what kind of ramen they like/what kind of ramen they’d like to try.

Main Activity

  1. The last slide has a picture of a “販売機 “. Explain to the students how to use one and ask for some pretend orders.

  2. Next is O’s Lunch! Students will each get a menu and a scenario card!
