The assistant asks the students the following questions. Have the students practice asking the other students questions.

What is your weekly schedule like? When do you have class or work?

What would you do if you were free?

Do you have any special plans this week?

Main Activity:

Part 1: Ask the students if they have any particular plans for this month! Have them use the annotate tool to mark days that they have plans on the provided calendar.

Encourage students to elaborate on their specified event using clarifying “why” or “what” questions.

Part 2: Using the provided Calendar, there are a number of events that have occurred after today and will occur following today.

If the event occurs before “today”  encourage the students to talk about the event and if they attended or watched.

If the event occurs after “today,” encourage the students to potentially make plans for the events to see if they want to attend any of them with the group.

Encourage students to elaborate on their specified event using clarifying “why” or “what” questions.
