Description: Explore the Peru Travel website under the Experiencias tab to see different categories of activities. Talk about travel preferences with a partner or small group.
Semantic Topics: Traveling, viajar, Perú, Verbs like gustar, verbos como gustar, food, mountains, experiential travel, viaje vivencial, comida, montañas.

Products: Pesos, physical money from Spanish-speaking countries (see Cultural Notes)

Activity Instructions
1. Pre-reading activity – Buzzfeed Quiz, optional play music from presentation while quiz is being taken.
2. Pre-reading activity – go over terms/categories of travel in slideshow (gastronomia, ect).
3. Interpretive Activity – Students explore Peru Travel site under the Experiencias tab, keeping in mind the categories of activities and ones they like.
4. Interpersonal Activity – use questions on slideshow presentations to facilitate student discussion in small groups or pairs.
5. Ask students some of the wrap-up questions to finish the activity (in slideshow).
END OF ACTIVITY:
• Read Can-Do statements once more and have students evaluate their confidence.
