Student will practice interpreting an authentic German schedule (World Cup 2022), and describing their own schedule based on the different days of the week. Students will practice discussing different school subjects and their daily schedule.

World Cup Schedule:
Warm-Up
- Begin by opening the Google Slideshow and introduce the Can-Dos for the activity.

- Pass out the World Cup 2022 schedule (this was originally used during the World Cup play but can easily be used after the fact, just preface it with “imagine it’s 2022 and the beginning of the World Cup”…etc.).

- Students will practice independently to put them in the correct order.

Main Activity
- Have students come up with as many school subjects they know and write them on the board as a word bank.

- Discuss with students the similarities and differences between a German calendar and an American one.
