German Level 1, Activity 05: How Often?/Wie Oft? (Face to Face)(Alternate)

Description: First, students will identify some activities according to what the image looks like. They must match it with the appropriate verb. The main objective during this activity is for Students to practice their ability to ask each other questions about how often they do certain activities. They will make sure to respond to these questions with full answers. Finally, students will end with answering which of the activities was their favorite and which one they do the most in their personal lives.

Semantic Topics: activities, Aktivitäten, free time, Freizeit, frequent, häufig, how often, wie oft.

Products: Language, Sprache, Words, Wörter, Nouns, Nomen, Verbs, Verben.

Practices: Identifying the frequency of doing an activity. Identifizieren wie oft einer ein Aktivität macht.

Perspectives: The importance of being involved and taking an interest in what other people might be doing. Die Wichtigkeit mit etwas beschäftig zu sein und sich interessieren mit was Anderen zu tun haben.

Warm-Up

  1. Match the picture with the correct verb.
    Pass das Bild mit dem richtigen Verb.

Main Activity

  1. Find the matching German and English verb pairs.
    Finde die passende Deutsch und Englische Verbpaaren.
  2. Ask a classmate a question about how often they do the activity.
    Frage einen Klassenkamaraden wie oft sie das Aktivität machen
  3. Then the teacher will ask this question to the student that found the pair.
    Dann werde der Lehrer(in) der Student der die Paar gefunden hat, die Frage fragen.

    1. Which activity do you do the most?

    2. Which activity do you do the least?

    their confidence.
