💥German Level 3, Activity 03: Jeopardy mit Farben / Jeopardy with Colors (Online)
Semantic Topics: Jeopardy, Trivia, Wissenwertes, Who, What, When, Where, Why, How, Wer, Was, Wann, Wo, Warum und Wie.
Products: Jeopardy Slide Show, Die Diashow des Spiels Jeopardy.
Practices: Learning playing behaviors by practicing German language by playing Jeopardy. Spielverhalten durch das Üben der deutschen Sprache durch das Spielen von Jeopardy lernen.
Perspectives: Value of good sportsmanship. Wert guten Sportsgeistes. Appreciation of the German knowledge already obtained. Würdigung der Bereits erworbenen Deutschkenntnisse.

- Objective: COMM 1.1 Interact and negotiate meaning (spoken, signed, written conversation) to share information, reactions, feelings, and opinions.
- Objective: COMM 2.1 Understand, interpret, and analyze what is heard, read, or viewed on a variety of topics.

Materials:
Warm-Up
1. Tell the students to pick 2 colors.
Sagen Sie den Schülern, dass sie 2 Farben auswählen sollen.
2. Each color corresponds to a question in the Google slide show.

3. After they have chosen their colors, reveal the question (next slide) and have the students answer them.

Main Activity
Jeopardy
1. Students will choose large topics to answer questions about.

2. Put the Google slide show into presentation mode. The students can decide to choose an “easy” (200). “medium” (400), or “hard” (600) question to answer.

3. When the student chooses the topic, click the topic amount and it will take you automatically to the slide.

4. The students will take turns choosing the topics and answering the questions.

WRAP-UP
Have the each student choose a different color from the warm-up color slide and ask the corresponding question to each student.
Lassen Sie jeden Schüler eine andere Farbe aus der Farbfolie zum Aufwärmen auswählen und stellen Sie jedem Schüler die entsprechende Frage.
End of Activity:
- Read Can-Do statements once more and have students evaluate their confidence. (Use thumbs up/thumbs down)
- Encourage students to be honest in their self-evaluation.
- Pay attention, and try to use feedback for future activities!
